Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Your Morocco photography tour begins in Marrakech with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, enjoy photo stops overlooking Berber villages and dramatic mountain landscapes. Continue to the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most iconic photography locations, perfect for capturing ancient architecture and desert light. After exploring the ksar, travel to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Evening at leisure and overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura - Bou Tharar Valley – Dades Valley
After breakfast, depart Ouarzazate toward the Skoura palm oasis, offering beautiful contrasts between palm groves and historic kasbahs, ideal for cultural photography in Morocco. Continue to the remote Bou Tharar Valley, where you’ll meet nomadic families and photograph authentic rural life in the High Atlas foothills. Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert

Day 4: Merzouga Photo Tour
Today is fully dedicated to Sahara photography in Merzouga. Explore the dunes by 4×4 and on foot, visiting nomadic communities, desert villages, and fossil areas. Capture sunrise over the dunes, traditional music, camel caravans, and vast desert landscapes. Your guide will help you find the best angles and lighting throughout the day. In the evening, enjoy another magical sunset session followed by stargazing and an overnight in Merzouga.
Day 5: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Agdz
After an early sunrise shoot, depart Merzouga toward the spectacular Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river valley, lined with palm oases and ancient kasbahs. Stop frequently for photography of mud-brick villages, date palms, and rural life. Continue to Agdz, a peaceful oasis town offering beautiful sunset views over the valley. Overnight in Agdz.
Day 6: Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Travel back toward Marrakech via Ouarzazate, with scenic stops along the Anti-Atlas landscapes. Photograph wide desert plains, mountain passes, and hidden villages before crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
