My name is Abdelaziz Moussaoui. I was born in Ouarzazate, in the heart of southern Morocco, a city of ancient kasbahs, desert gateways, and Berber traditions that have endured for centuries. I grew up in a family where hospitality wasn't a courtesy, it was a way of life. Where strangers were welcomed at the table, stories were passed down around the fire, and the land was always treated with reverence.
That upbringing shaped everything about how I see travel. Growing up between the Sahara dunes, the Atlas Mountains, and the ancient kasbah trails of the Draa Valley taught me that Morocco is not a destination you visit, it's a place you feel. The colours, the silence of the desert at dawn, the call to prayer echoing through a medina, the warmth of a family-run riad these are experiences that stay with a traveler long after they return home.
After years of working closely with travelers from across Europe, North America, and beyond learning what truly makes a journey memorable. I founded Grand Moroccan Journey to bring that depth to every private tour we design. Not group itineraries. Not rushed checklists.
