Founder & Morocco Travel Designer
My name is Abdelaziz Moussaoui. I was born in southern Morocco, in the city of Ouarzazate, and raised in a Berber family where hospitality, storytelling, and respect for the land are part of everyday life. Growing up surrounded by kasbahs, desert landscapes, and mountain villages shaped the way I see travel not as a product, but as a human experience.
I have always loved travel, discovering new cultures, and meeting people from different backgrounds. Over time, this passion naturally turned into a way of life. Today, I live as a digital nomad, working remotely while staying deeply connected to Morocco and its regions. This lifestyle enables me to better understand travelers, their curiosity, expectations, and desire for meaningful journeys rather than rushed tours.
After years of working closely with travelers from around the world, I realized that the most memorable journeys are built on connection, comfort, and authenticity. That realization led to the creation of Grand Moroccan Journey, a travel company dedicated to designing private, tailor-made experiences that reflect the real Morocco, at a human pace and far from mass tourism.
