Day By Day Itinerary
Experience the magic of the Sahara on this 4-day luxury desert tour from Marrakech to Erg Chigaga. Travel through the Atlas Mountains, visit Ait Ben Haddou, explore remote dunes, and enjoy a luxury desert camp with camel rides and stunning sunsets — all on a private, tailor-made journey designed for comfort and authentic discovery.
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Agdz
Depart Marrakech in the morning and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop to visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” before driving through the beautiful Draa Valley with its endless palm groves. Arrive in Agdz in the late afternoon. Overnight in a luxury guesthouse or boutique hotel.
Day 2: Agdz – Draa Valley – M’Hamid – Erg Chigaga Luxury Desert Camp
After breakfast, travel along the Draa Valley toward M’Hamid, the last village before the Sahara. From here, begin your off-road adventure across desert landscapes, dry lakebeds, and rolling dunes to reach Erg Chegaga. Arrive at your luxury desert camp in time for sunset over the dunes. Day 3: Erg Chigaga Desert – Nomad Encounters & Sahara Sunset
