Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Your 7-day Morocco journey with Grand Moroccan Journey begins in Marrakech, the Red City. Upon arrival, our local team welcomes you and transfers you to your riad or hotel in the medina. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxed walk through Jemaa el-Fna Square and nearby souks. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2: Marrakech Guided City Tour
Explore Marrakech with an experienced local guide. Visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and admire the Koutoubia Mosque from outside. Walk through the old medina and vibrant souks, discovering Moroccan crafts and daily life. Free time in the afternoon to relax or enjoy a traditional hammam. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 3: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate
Leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop for panoramic views along the way. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 4: Ouarzazate - Rose Valley - Dades Valley
After breakfast, travel through Skoura Oasis and the Rose Valley, famous for palm groves and traditional kasbahs. Enjoy peaceful landscapes and authentic Berber villages. Arrive in the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and quiet atmosphere. Overnight in Dades Valley.
Day 5: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert

Day 6: Merzouga - Draa Valley - Agdz
Wake up early to enjoy a peaceful sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast at the desert camp, leave Merzouga and travel west toward the beautiful Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest oasis. Along the route, enjoy scenic stops overlooking endless palm groves, traditional ksour, and ancient kasbahs built from earth and stone. Continue to the quiet oasis town of Agdz, known for its relaxed atmosphere and authentic desert life. Overnight in a charming guesthouse or riad in Agdz.
Day 7: Agdz - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
After breakfast, depart Agdz and drive back to Marrakech via the Anti-Atlas and High Atlas Mountains. Pass through remote landscapes, Berber villages, and scenic mountain roads. Enjoy photo stops along the way before crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
